Clean bedrooms, Kaitlyn at the front desk was very friendly and helped us save our breastmilk by offering additional freezer space.

Came to best western to stay for a night and swim, all was going well until we opened our floor room window to take a picture in the blue lights outside. This lady comes over and says “do you wanna see some puppies” we say yes and everything seemed normal until she was leaning in our window telling us the cartel was after her and she was the prophet going on and on for over an hour about her whole life and all her trauma. to put everything she said in this would be a 10 page essay. She was very much on something. and the first time the cops came she was banging on our window and flung it open, to then talk to us for another 30 minutes. eventually we ended up going to the front desk and telling falicity (idk how to spell her name). cops came for the second time and told her to leave and we got our room changed but it’s definitely a great story to tell now. No hate on the hotel it’s not there fualt, FALICITY DESERVES A RAISE THOUGH.

Great experience, lovely pool room, missed opportunity didn't swim. Comfortable. The tub is tiny in the shower though so if you want to relax alone in hot bath you will make a mess put down towels. But there is a hot tub down stairs. Owner is nice.

I was a lil put off by the few bad reviews. But to be honest this place had the best rating/reviews in the area. I am so glad we stayed here! HIGHLY recommend! Our stay here was Sat-Mon in Sept. We stayed in rm 234 it is the room w 3 Queen beds. Sat was about $140 and Sun was only about $120. You should always check what ur rate will be for each day your going to stay. If you do not, you can't complain about the rate later. Thats just dumb. This stay was for my husbands birthday celebration, I got him a fishing charter on Sandusky Bay w family and friends. I also planned dinner and cake for when they got back. I asked at check in if I could use the breakfast room and was told shift change was at 4pm to call down and ask the new person on duty. Which I did and Felicity was very kind to let us and asked how many people which only 6 were staying for dinner. I promised to clean up our mess. We did put up a happy Birthday banner and our own table cloths, only utilizing 3 tables, making sure to put everything back the way it was when we were done. We appreciated this so much! Now, I like to keep my expectations in perspective. You should too. For the price this hotel exceeded my expectations! Every employee we encountered was very kind and courteous. Everything was clean, no smells. Pool and Hot tub Area- pool was warm. Hot tub was very hot, I'd guess kept about 102°. Pool area very clean, towels set on each table. FYI- The bathroom in the pool area is huge. There's a bathroom in the hall right outside the pool room too but its small. Breakfast- It was very good and well maintained the whole time. It is a hot breakfast, w waffle makers, fresh fruit, breads, muffins, pastries, cereals, hot drinks, OJ, yogurt, im sure im missing things. Very nice. Room- very clean, well stocked. Not small but just enough room to move around comfortably. The bathroom was very small, just enough room to open the door. Though, very clean and well maintained. This room would NOT be wheelchair accessible. However, we did have handicap/mobility disabled people in our group and we were ok. A walker/rollator was a tight squeeze but we made it work. * This room was also all the way down the end of the hallway. * Parking- good parking, especially for handicap near front door. Front door- is a pull to open door not the usual big automatic open doors. Elevator- is halfway down the hallway. A bit of a walk for anyone w mobility issues. So plan accordingly. *This hotel should have a higher rating. We've paid much more in this area for much less in hotels not nearly as well maintained, with staff not nearly as professional. *Thank you to Felicity and all the staff for a great experience!*

We came over winter break when our kids needed a little getaway and we needed to not break the bank. Pro- awesome pool and hot tub. Nicely heated, good size, has both shallow and deeper areas, can supervise the pool from the hot tub. Beds/pillows were very comfy. Staff was very responsive to our needs. Adjoining rooms were great. Very affordable. Breakfast was included and was totally adequate, but not amazing. Con-the bathrooms and bedrooms overall are very tight. Beds were very high, which was fine for us but could be a problem for anyone with restricted mobility. TV size is quite small.

Nice place to stay a short drive from Cedar Point. Room was clean and included breakfast was good. Great value especially compared to other hotels in the area. Bed was comfortable and shades kept the room dark even with an easy-facing window.

Small hotel. Rooms and hallway smell musty. Service has been above and beyond. Breakfast is Continental and includes waffles. Indoor heated pool and hot tub. Laundry, gym, business center, vending and ice. Coffee available all day. Clean rooms and hot shower. Comfortable bed. Restaurants close by and dollar general store next door if you forgot anything.
